Tithes & general offerings
The weekly ministry of the local church — Sunday and Wednesday services, Sunday School, AWANA, the Spanish ministry, and the building's day-to-day costs.
Giving here supports the local congregation gathered on Power Road. It also goes out with the missionaries our denomination sends — Free Will Baptist World Missions and North American Missions.
Pick whichever is easiest. There is no minimum, no pledge card, and no follow-up call.
Online giving is one-time or recurring through our giving portal. Checks can be made out to East Valley Church and mailed to the Power Road address — write a designation in the memo line if you'd like a gift to go to missions or the building fund. In person, the offering is received during the Sunday morning service. Visitors are not expected to give; the plate is for the congregation.
Every gift lands in one of these. If you don't designate a gift, it goes to the general offering for the local church.

On Sunday morning the plate is passed once, near the end of the service, after the singing and before the benediction.
Members give as the Lord has prospered them. Visitors and first-time guests are not expected to give — the plate goes by, and that's fine. Questions about giving, designations, year-end statements, or planned gifts can go straight to Pastor Mike Cash at the church number; he answers his own phone.
